Tim Mata Elang dari Sat Reserse Narkoba Polres Kuantan Singingi melakukan pengungkapan kasus penyalahgunaan narkotika jenis Shabu di Desa Muaro Sentajo, Kecamatan Sentajo Raya, Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi. Pada hari Selasa (23/4/2024) sekitar pukul 23.00 WIB, Operasi ini dipimpin oleh Kasat Satuan Reserse Narkoba Polres Kuansing, AKP Novris H Simanjuntak S.H., M.H.
Kapolres Kuansing AKBP Pangucap Priyo Soegito,S.IK,MH, melalui Kasat Narkoba Polres Kuansing AKP Novris, menjelaskan “Dalam operasi tersebut, dua orang tersangka berhasil ditangkap. Mereka adalah R (51) dan AS (22), yang diketahui terlibat dalam pemakaian narkotika. Saat penangkapan dilakukan di rumah tersangka R (51), petugas menemukan satu buah kaca Pirex yang diduga berisi narkotika jenis Shabu. Selain itu, juga ditemukan satu buah plastik klip kosong,” ungkap AKP Novris.
“Tersangka R (51) mengaku mendapatkan narkotika dari seorang tersangka lain dengan inisial W, yang memberikannya satu paket dengan harga Rp. 200.000. Pengakuan ini menjadi bahan penting dalam pengembangan kasus lebih lanjut oleh pihak kepolisian,” jelas Kasat.
“Proses penyelidikan dan pengembangan kasus masih terus dilakukan guna mengungkap jaringan peredaran narkotika yang lebih luas di wilayah tersebut. Selain itu, hasil tes urine menunjukkan bahwa kedua tersangka, R (51) dan AS (22), juga positif menggunakan amphetamine, yang menambah seriusnya tindak pidana yang mereka lakukan,”
“Tersangka beserta barang bukti telah diamankan dan dibawa ke Polres Kuantan Singingi untuk proses penyelidikan lebih lanjut. Polres Kuansing menegaskan komitmennya untuk memberantas peredaran narkotika di wilayahnya demi menjaga keamanan dan ketertiban masyarakat,” pungkas AKP Novri
