Pekanbaru -detik24.com. Kapolda Riau Irjen Pol Mohammad Iqbal melepas 5 bus rombongan mudik gratis tujuan Sumatera Barat (Sumbar) dan Sumatera Utara (Sumut), Sabtu (06/04/2024) pagi, sekitar pukul 09.30 Wib, di halaman depan Mapolda Riau di Jalan Pattimura, Pekanbaru.
Mudik gratis ini diberi tema ‘Mudik Kebangsaan Presisi Polda Riau Bersama Cipayung Plus 2024, mudik ceria penuh makna.
Lima unit bus disiapkan dengan rute, Rantau Prapat, Padang Sidempuan, Solok dan Bukitttingi.
Sejumlah pemudik tampak antusias mengikuti mudik gratis ini dan membawa barang-barang serta koper mereka dan dinaikkan ke atas bus.
“Alhamdulillah tahun ini, Polda Riau kembali mengadakan Mudik Gratis. Terimakasih Polda Riau,” kata Salah seorang pemudik, Zulfikri.
Hal sama juga diungkapkan pemudik lainnya tujuan Solok, Sumatera Barat, Rizaldi. Ia mengaku senang adanya program mudik gratis dari Polda Riau.
“Saya sangat senang adanya mudik gratis ini. Saya dari Pekanbaru dan rencana pulang kampung ke Solok. Saya mudik bersama anak istri,” ungkap Rizal.
“Semoga progam ini ada setiap tahunnya,” kata bapak anak satu ini.
Kapolda Riau, Irjen Pol Mohammad Iqbal mengatakan, ada sekitar 146 orang pemudik yang ikut dalam kegiatan bertajuk Mudik Kebangsaan ini. Mereka dibagi 5 bus dengan masing-masing bus, tujuan Padang Sidempuan sebanyak 48 penumpang, Rantau perapat 40 penumpang, Solok 30 penumpang dan Bukit Tinggi 38 penumpang.
“Kita berangkatkan hari ini ke Sumbar dan ke Sumut dengan berbagai jurusan. Beberapa fasilitas sudah kita lengkapi, pengawalan juga dilakukan tim Polantas, di Sumbar itu sampai Bukittinggi dan Sumut sampai Padang Sidempuan,” kata Irjen Pol Mohammad Iqbal.
Kapolda menjelaskan, kegiatan ini merupakan hasil kerjasama Polda Riau dengan organisasi mahasiswa Cipayung Plus Riau yang ke 3 kalinya.
“Ini merupakan base 3 kerjasama kami dengan adek-adek Cipayung Plus 2024. Saya bangga selaku Kapolda Riau, bahwa ide-ide yang sangat mulia dan strategis ini dilemparkan kepada saya, yang sekiranya dapat membantu dan mengeksekusi ide ini,” kata Irjen Pol Iqbal.
Kapolda berharap, kegiatan positif ini bisa terus dilakukan ke depan. Tujuannya membantu dan meringankan beban masyarakat.
“Saya berpesan selaku Kapolda Riau, selain selamat mudik, sampaikan salam saya kepada seluruh keluarga di kampung dan patuhi aturan yang ada,” tutup Kapolda Riau.
